The word Yoga (from Sanskrit योग) means union and harmony. Yoga, especially if practiced consistently, leads to an important sense of mental, physical and spiritual well-being, balancing the flow of energy into the body and creating the inner conditions to restore and regain inner peace.


The practice of yoga helps a woman to become more conscious of Self, of her emotions, and is incisive in assisting her to find a sense of inner balance. The practice of some yoga styles, statements and mantras contributes to the rebalancing of the hemispheric brain, providing harmony and peace of mind. A persistent approach to the practice of yoga automatically improves quality of thought, and as a direct result, your quality of life.


The variety of yoga positions (Asana), stimulates the beginning of an energy flow throughout your body, leading to a sensation of greater physical energy and overall well being. The exercises are functional to stretch the muscles and tendons, dissolve tensions and energy blocks in your body. This results in greater ligament flexibility and balance, thereby improving the functionality of your respiratory system, physical performance and overall health status.


All yoga practice has a profound spiritual root, so all exercises, whether physical or not, enable us to become more in touch with ourselves, enabling us to re-discover our own divine essence. In the vision transmitted by the science of Yoga, we are souls who dwell in a physical body, whose essence is the Spirit. The greatest benefit in practicing yoga is to create harmony among body, mind and spirit.
